MERGE T&F Club 2019 Season

Area coaches, former athletes, current Loras TF athletes along with MERGE Performance Institute are excited to announce the 2019 edition of a FUN and comprehensive youth track club in Dubuque, Iowa dedicated to the education and development of Dubuque area youth (boys and girls). The MERGE program will focus on dynamic movements and skill sessions through the season. It is committed to maintaining a positive environment to help build confidence. This program is for any athlete that wants to improve their skills in Track and Field or for anyone who wants to maintain their fitness during or between running seasons. Practices are designed to teach running form, track and field skills, and provide a short, focused workout. Ages separated appropriately. Coaches will focus on effort and attitude over result. This program is not designed to be an excessive running program. As kids mature they will be pushed appropriately and their workout will progress. Parents are encouraged to stay and support their kids and even walk or run on the track during practice.

Open to 1st through 8th Grades
*HS sessions available after June 1 by request

Sundays March 10th – June 2nd 4:00 – 5:30 pm
(We will NOT meet Easter, Mothers Day or Memorial Day weekend)

Wednesdays March 13th – June 12th 5:15 –6:30 pm
Additional 1-1 sessions available after June 12th by request

PROGRAM / SESSION OPTIONS:
SUNDAYs ONLY “Developmental” Season
For all ages. Will focus on running fundamentals, some event specific technique and FUN! Home meet / season finale June 5th. Developmental athletes welcome to attend away meets but not required or expected.

SUNDAY + WEDNESDAY “Competitive” Season
Wednesdays will focus on more competition skills
and event technique. Competitive athletes asked to attend 2 USATF, AAU or other meets plus home meet.

The club uses these fees to cover facility rentals, insurance, equipment expenses, coaching fees and other fees that arise throughout the season.
